RevolutionR, a leading force in gaming in France
For more than twenty years, RevolutionR has established itself as a key player in gaming and esports in France. From creating pioneering events to supporting iconic brands, the agency has anticipated the changes in a constantly evolving sector.
Visionary beginnings
The story of gaming at RevolutionR began almost by chance — a “happy industrial accident”, as agency director Gilles Broise likes to put it.
We were originally specialised in promoting destinations and the mountains. One day, a games publisher contacted us to come up with an original presence at the Micromania Game Show, even though their game wasn't even finished. We created a freestyle event around street football, DJs and graffiti artists: it became the place to be in Paris.
This first success caught the attention of Micromania, which entrusted the agency with the full development of the Micromania Game Show from 2004. The event grew spectacularly: more than 50,000 visitors over three days, making it France's benchmark video game show. This success would go on to inspire the creation of Paris Games Week.
Long-standing expertise serving brands
In 2004, RevolutionR became Nintendo France's agency, marking the start of a collaboration spanning more than twenty years.
We have supported every console launch: the Wii, the DS, the 3DS, the Switch, and soon the Switch 2. For me, it's a real source of pride, because Nintendo is part of the personal history of an entire generation.
The agency has also worked with PlayStation, Microsoft, Electronic Arts and Activision, orchestrating launches of major franchises such as Call of Duty, Guitar Hero and FIFA.
The rise of esports and immersive experiences
After the Covid period, we wanted to bring esports closer to the general public and to local areas by creating high-visibility live events.
The agency supports major competitions such as the LFL Days in Nice and the Paris region, BLAST tournaments at the Accor Arena, the Fortnite Worlds and the Rocket League Major in Lyon. In 2026, RevolutionR will help produce new large-scale events at La Défense Arena and the Adidas Arena. Another landmark success: the partnership with EVA, the world leader in virtual reality gaming, which has grown from one venue to more than 80 worldwide.
A forward-looking vision
For twenty years, we have worked with every player in gaming. And while the sector has changed, our approach remains the same: building connections between brands, players and places, with passion, creativity and high standards.
