Paris Games Week 2026: RevolutionR designs the Nintendo and Bandai Namco booths and handles press relations for the EMEA Masters final
Paris Games Week 2026 closed its doors on 25 October at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles after four days of packed aisles. RevolutionR, a communications agency specialising in esports and gaming, was there on three fronts: designing the Nintendo booth, designing the Bandai Namco booth — two publishers that have trusted the agency since the show's very first edition — and running press relations for the EMEA Masters final, staged by N.E.O on the main stage. A look back at an edition guided by a single brief: let people play.
The Nintendo booth: built around Nintendo Switch 2
Under its red signage, the Nintendo booth showcased the season's line-up on Nintendo Switch 2, with dozens of free-play stations. Visitors got hands-on with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, Mario Kart World, Tomodachi Life, Pokémon Pokopia and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, alongside major partner titles from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to Monster Hunter Wilds. Final Fantasy VII Revelation was playable there for the first time in France, ahead of its release on 8 April 2027.
Two sets served as meeting points: a life-size Hyrule forest inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, due on 5 November, and a timeline mural celebrating 40 years of the saga. On the booth's main stage, daily Mario Kart World tournaments set the pace of the week through to their finals, between live shows and Nintendo guests.
The Bandai Namco booth: two worlds and a screening room
The Bandai Namco booth played on two registers. On the Bandai Namco side, a red-floored stage running from morning to night, a Pac-Man area and banks of stations for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, Gundam Rogue Orbit, Ace Combat 8 and Tekken 8, each in its own licensed setting. On the Square Enix side, distributed on the booth, a sober black volume devoted to Final Fantasy VII: a dedicated façade, an official shop, a hall of stations for the Remake trilogy and a closed screening room for Final Fantasy VII Revelation presentations.
Main stage: the EMEA Masters final under the media spotlight
On Thursday 22 October, opening day, the show's main stage hosted the EMEA Masters Summer 2026 final, the League of Legends competition bringing together the best teams from the regional leagues of Europe and the Middle East. Organised by N.E.O and Bertrand Amar, it was played as a best-of-five in front of a full house. RevolutionR handled press relations: invitations, accreditations and hosting of half a dozen journalists on site, resulting in a long-form feature produced by TFX.
One brief, three clients, the same loyalty
For Nintendo as for Bandai Namco, the brief fitted in one sentence: give visitors as much space and as many gaming experiences as possible. RevolutionR designed both booths from 3D sketch to execution drawings, separating free-play, stage and private-presentation zones so that each could run at full capacity. “Nintendo and Bandai Namco have been with us since the early days of Paris Games Week, and N.E.O entrusts us with its biggest esports events, from EVO France to the EMEA Masters. Seeing them renew their trust year after year is our finest reward,” says Gilles Broise, founder and president of RevolutionR.
RevolutionR has supported video game and esports players for more than twenty years: Nintendo has entrusted it with its launches since the Wii, and the agency has handled communications for events such as EVO, BLAST, the Esports World Cup and the Esports Nations Cup. Booth design, press relations, influence, content and events: one senior team, to make people play and make it known.
